Ratchet & Clank Japanese anniversary videos are bizarre

New videos from PlayStation Japan are in, celebrating the 10 year anniversary of the Ratchet & Clank series and promoting the catalogue. They're odd to say the least, but just as amusing, even if you can't understand a word of it.

In the first, Ratchet is teaching a group of schoolchildren about his games (apparently they're not very well known among Japanese youth), after which he lets them all get a feel for his gigantic gun (because why not?), and the teacher gets them playing said games. They're an enthusiastic bunch, so it's cute if nothing else.

The second video features Ratchet -- oversized head and all -- picking up a beautiful woman in a bar by displaying the impressive amount of games he's starred in and busting out his gun. Works every time.
