Kojima Productions has said Metal Gear’s 25th anniversary event will feature “exciting announcements”, as well as promising the industry will be shaken by the forthcoming event.
The firm's Report podcast host Ken Mendoza said during the firm's latest episode that there will be "a lot of exciting announcements.” Chris Johns hyped the event further by stating "the industry’s gonna be shook by what we’re going to be able to present here."
Currently, it's only known that Kojima Productions will be showcasing the Fox Engine at Metal Gear's 25th anniversary event held in Japan. Johns could be referring to the engine by saying not only will fans be impressed, but the industry itself will be impacted. As for Mendoza's words, the event may very well see the official announcement of Metal Gear Solid 5 and the full unveil of series creator Hideo Kojima's mysterious Project Ogre.
