ZombiU senior producer gives gameplay walkthrough in new trailer

Ubisoft kicks off a ZombiU video series today, giving us a behind-the-scenes look at the upcoming Wii U survival horror. Not exactly a platform you'd expect such a genre to flourish.

In the first episode, which mostly introduces us to the basics, senior producer, Guillaume Brunier offers some insight into the game's design as well as tips on survival. A bit like a developer walkthrough, really.

As the story goes, London has been overrun with zombies in the year 2012 (!), and the outbreak is turning just about everyone into mindless monsters with a craving for human flesh. Each time you die in ZombiU, the game plops you in the body of a different survivor, since whoever you were just playing has already been infected and turned. An interesting mechanic, that.

If you're curious about ZombiU's multiplayer component, we did get to try that out at this year's E3. For the most part, it sounds like the game's real draw may be its campaign, however.
