Dishonored's 'The Study of Stealth' trailer draws your eyes to new features, stabs you in the back

There's one thing about Dishonored that's hard to argue, and that's how the game looks brilliant in each of the trailers released so far. We've seen "Creative Kills" and missions played both stealthily and a juggernaut-style -- the game is just beautiful in motion. And though we know the game can be completed without killing a single person, but have yet to see how such a feet can be executed. Today, Arkane and Bethesda released a trailer just for the stealth-addicts among us, showcasing the different gameplay systems at work to encourage and reward stealthiness.

Titled "The Study of Stealth" this new trailer showcases how enemy AI vision works, or specifically how vision is legitimately associated with an enemies eyeballs as opposed to a  generic field of vision in front of their character model. Cover is also an important tool used in avoiding line of sight, and in order to help a player properly use cover leaning has been included in the game. Sound is also an important system to stealth, though less modernized than enemies vision in Dishonored. Crouch-walking is stealthy, running is not; choking an enemy is stealthy, shooting them in the face is not. Simple, right? Naturally, my poor description is nothing compared to Dishonored in motion.

Dishonored is coming to Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC on October 9 -- a mixture of Thief and Bioshock and what am I even doing, it's not even fair for me to compare these games to each other. Dishonored looks great, check out this new trailer already.
