Yeah, I should say the 80 MS point price would help.

It's so bleeding similar to minecraft though, that they would have been sued if Notch/Mojang were of half a mind to do so. It's pretty blatant >_> If I didn't know better, I'd say it was Minecraft with a texture, and character mod (the character is this strange looking arm) Oh, and guns >_>

To be perfectly honest, it DOES look like a good alternative for people who can't afford Minecraft, or even Fortresscraft (which is sitting at 160 MS points apparently). Seriously, I can't say I'm too surprised about it selling well (albeit, not ~1 million copies well).

Shadow of Death Exactly the response I would expect from someone looking at the game tbh. My friends and I said the same thing... Then I bought it.... Then they bought it. Then we proceeded to spend the first 7-10 hours straight after buying it building and collecting resources.

Then we went into the mode with monsters.... And a dragon showed up. Needless to say the game is amazing for the price point. We bought it to tide ourselves over until minecraft was released. The game has pretty creepy sound to be honest. Really is a great game to play with friends.

Can we have some originality in our games? Because this is another example of people going for the "tried and true" CoD FPS formula. No one wants to experiment, only to have a flop game. I tried this game at a friends house when he purchased it. We played for ten minutes, were sickened by this similarities to minecraft. We then proceeded to play minecraft all night with super enchanted everything on his hardcore server, feeling boss.

My friend bought this game awhile back and when he showed it to me i was disgusted. He said he bought it because it was so blatant he wanted to show me, and it was only 80 ms points. This is absolutely terrible, they tried to make the graphics more realistic which took away all the fun of it.

Minecraft was a ripoff of another game itself. Minecraft is nothing more than successful copy cat attempt. Castle miner however, used the block based genre and improved so many things to make it an entirely different game. It's successful on a different level. By far it is a better deal than Minecraft. Missing a few things maybe, but also offers things that Minecraft does not. I love it, and so does nearly a million other people. Hats off to DDNA.

Skyler_x_Mandy & The4thFang it amazes me that people with your view point still exist. Minecraft is in a GENRE of games. That GENRE will have other games in it. Minecraft is simply the most successful in the GENRE. It's like looking at Call of Duty, Battlefield, Counter Strike, all rip offs of Doom or quake. It's just kind of assanine. Minecraft is amazing fun, and in my opinion it is a better game than Castle Miner Z, but they are two completely different versions of a game in the same genre. Minecraft is more of a sword and sorcery type of fantasy game, while castle miner z is more of a modern war type of game with fantasy elements in the enemy classes. It's like if a game in the FPS Genre came out with swords and magic and saying it was a rip off of call of duty.... Oh wait... Skyrim.

You are, in my opinion, comparing Skyrim to Call of Duty. It's foolish.
