Trine 2: Goblin Menace expansion gets new trailer, adds six new levels
Looking pretty as ever, coming in the fall
Trine 2 players will have a reason to return to the game this fall, when Frozenbyte releases Trine 2: Goblin Menace to Steam. The Finnish studio unveiled the upcoming expansion today at gamescom, though details like pricing and other platforms are still unknown.
What we do know, however, is that Goblin Menace adds a new campaign to the game, which spans six levels and improves the visuals further. Because Trine 2 can somehow look even more beautiful. The expansion will also bring back some skills from the original Trine, and "general improvements and tweaks" will be released to all players.
Somewhat related is news of a Trine 2: Director's Cut headed to the Wii U later this year, though that also has no release date or pricing info right now.
For now, dig the new trailer and screenshots. They're unbelievably gorgeous -- we promise.
