World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria opening cinematic debuts at gamescom
All of your favorite stereotypes rolled into one panda trailer
World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria, the next expansion in the most popular MMO in the world, has an opening cinematic now available. The PC exclusive MMO expansion is set for release September 25, where it will introduce the mystical realm of Pandaria, populated by the prospering and peaceful race of Pandarians. The Pandarians will be a new playable race for either faction, along with a new Monk class that can be used by any race except Worgen and Goblin.
Officially unveiled at gamescom in Germany, the Mists of Pandaria opening captures the spirit and nature of the expansion without being painfully obvious. What at face value may appear to be just a cool fight scene, is actually representative of the Horde and Alliance and their ongoing conflict stumbling into the peaceful world of Pandaria. This faction based battles will be at the forefront of the plot, along with the mysteries unveiled in Pandaria as both factions battle for supremacy.
Whether you're okay with the idea of kung fu pandas, panda boobs, or the change in drama from the Cataclysm to Pandaria in general, it's hard to argue Blizzard doesn't continue to deliver tons of great new content in their expansions. Look forward to World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria, launching September 25 on PC.
