Today, Twin Engine Labs releases the first League of Legends app for iOS, adorably titled "Pentakill." What is it? A free companion app for LoL, its biggest selling feature a screen analyzer that can help you during matches.
As a demo video shows us, the app includes an analyzer tool (at a cost of $0.99) that can actually help players counter-pick their opponents. How does it work? Just hold the phone's camera up to your screen over a specific Champion icon, and the app recognizes that character. It'll then suggest who you should pick and some counter mechanics, in addition to generating a quick cheat sheet.
The app also lets you view a Champion's information -- like stats, lore, and skins -- on a single screen. It's really all about convenience. Check the video to see this neat little app in action. Fun fact: Twin Engine Labs developed Pentakill in under two weeks.
You can download the app from iTunes any time. Sad to say, Android users like myself are going to have to sit this one out.
