Not that simple..

Mojang shopped around for deals for a console port, Microsoft gave them the best offer so Minecraft headed to Xbox 360 and this is where it will now stay for the foreseeable future. If Mojang only made a deal for it to be Xbox 360 exclusive for a year it may hit PS3 middle of 2013, if it's a flat out permanent exclusivity deal it's never hitting a Sony home console from here to eternity.

Hey, I just wanted to say that I have played minecraft since alpha and i have bought numerus copies for my friends. I love minecraft and i believe its a great game. But i really hate notch and mojang. Mojang from what I have seen is extreemly lazy and lax on updates and releases. I feel like they don't even care about the game anymore. As for notch, I believe that notch is the most corrupted
individual i know of. I know of more corrupt people but i dont know anyone who went from being a lowly indie game dev. To a multi million dollar asshole who doesn't care about his audience. It seems that all notch and mojang care about are the conventions we pay for the the new offices we pay the rent on. I love minecraft I just wish mojang and notch would love minecraft too :'(
