Kojima Productions has said Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance will feature more codec conversations than cutscenes.
Due to the hack-and-slash title being an action-oriented game, Kojima Productions stated that, when compared to past iterations in the Metal Gear Solid series, the length of cutscenes will be a "little shorter".
Instead, players will experience the story via codec conversations that will be featured in a "huge amount". Such conversations will be initiated in real-time during gameplay, or you have the option to go back to base and call your partners back to obtain extra details.
Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance is due for a release on consoles next year.
