Dragon's Dogma exclusive PS3 demo delayed, in-game competition kicks off

Capcom has pushed back the release of that in-depth PS3 exclusive Dragon's Dogma demo, at least by a couple weeks.

Well, the game's been out a while, so it probably isn't a huge deal, but if you were seriously looking forward to it, the new PS3 demo will be arriving August 15 and August 21 to Europe and North America, respectively. As previously mentioned, the cool part is that you can carry your character's save data from the demo to the full game, should you like the former and purchase the latter.

For folks who already own the game, today marks the start of a competition for the Pawn Community site, The Gran Soren Times. Capcom is encouraging players to take in-game screenshots and use the game's photo sharing feature (too ba dabout that giant Dragon's Dogma watermark) to show them off. Winners will receive exclusive Avatar goods on LIVE and PSN; 18 grand prize winners will have their Pawns showcased in a special area of the Rift. Six will be chosen from Europe, North America, and Japan.
