Dishonored is now less than two months away from its October 9 release date, and the first-person stealth/action title is going out of its way to show you why it's great. This newest trailer, named "Creative Kills" shows three different methods of using skills and the environment to wreak havoc. Whether using booby traps and summoned animals, time lapse and possession, or rewiring tools and force pushes, Dishonored has playstyle options for everyone.
Did I mention how horrifically brutal Dishonored appears to be? I heard a snippet of Dishonored's story at E3, and sure the protagonist has cause to be a jerk, but the moves like in this trailer are downright harrowing. I suppose it says what to expect right there in the title.
The best part is, Dishonored has yet to even show the plot and setting of Dishonored off. I can't wait to hear more about whale oil and the devastating plague. Heck, the hardest decision I might end up facing is whether to pick up Dishonored on console (PS3, Xbox 360) for the immersion, or stick with the PC for its customization. Either way, you've sickened me into a preorder, Dishonored.
