Final Fantasy 14: A Realm Reborn's second cinematic trailer features Eorzea undone
Also, that one guy is way too happy about fire and brimstone raining down
Final Fantasy XIV's A Realm Reborn reboot received a second cinematic trailer today, though it was intended for Japanese audiences. The trailer showcases some of the new cinematic sequences players will be finding in RR, which contains an expansions worth of new content in addition to its dramatic changes to virtually every aspect of the game. FF14 is expected to relaunch later this year, though no firm date has been confirmed.
As many may have guessed, cinematic trailers like this one resonate a lot more with Japanese audiences than they do with western ones. Many interested MMO fans would likely prefer to see more gameplay, story arcs or a more dramatic representation of the game. To that, I'd say just wait, because Square Enix is likely cooking up something just for us.
A Realm Reborn is worth getting exciting just seeing how much Square Enix is supporting it marketing-wise. There is a lot of money involved in Final Fantasy XIV's relaunch, and hopefully it'll pay off. Lucky for us, we'll find out soon, as Square Enix is planning on showing off a full gameplay presentation next week at gamescom. MMO fans get hyped!
