Amazon gives a peek at what Wii U boxes may look like
Hopefully this design isn't final
Some recently discovered listings for a trio of Ubisoft titles on Amazon.ca has offered up what would appear to be Wii U box art for Assassin's Creed 3, Just Dance 4, and Marvel Avengers: Battle for Earth.
If these box shots are anything to go by we can expect future Wii U releases to sport a similar teal and yellow semi-circle inorder to help consumers differentiate between games made for the fancy new Wii U and its older, Wii counterpart. Hopefully this design won't be final, and the teal will be toned down to a more signature "Wii blue" while eliminating the yellow arc entirely (Since when is yellow even a nintendo color?).
Either way, it's at least nice to know Nintendo wants to help its consumers purchase the proper games for their new console; even if this particular choice seems to be overly apparent to facilitate the casual, soccer mom gamer they tried so hard to reassure us they had no intentions of catering to with their next console (Remember E3?). Also, we find it a tad strange that none of Ubisoft's other titles listed for release on Wii U have these odd boxes.
Honestly, putting "Wii U" on the frot of the box somewhere would be just fine without the tacky teal header obstructing the art (which oddly reminds us of something you'd find on the box of a children's edutainment PC game). With any luck this will all be cleaned up by time of Wii U's launch. Otherwise, prepare for to have some pretty ugly cases in you collection.
Thanks for showing this to us, nnnddd101010.

It's great that you put this peek of the design up for an article but two thirds of it is artistic advice about boxart logo designs and offhanded comments about how they wont cater to 'core' gamers based solely on said boxart logo design. It makes most of this article pointless filler.
While it is interesting to some, it's not actually a big enough news piece to have four paragraphs, unless you had talked about the games themselves.
