Metal Gear Solid HD versions dated for digital release, all coming in August
More MGS than you can handle
For the diehard Metal Gear Solid fans, Konami has dated all the upcoming MGS HD digital releases. Go figure they're all dropping at about the same time.
The first batch will be landing Tuesday, August 21, which includes a mess of HD editions for Sony's platforms. The Metal Gear Solid - HD Collection for Xbox 360 includes Metal Gear Solid 2 and Metal Gears Solid 3. Dig it:
August 21st:
- METAL GEAR SOLID 2: SONS OF LIBERTY - HD Edition (PS Vita)
- METAL GEAR SOLID 3: SNAKE EATER - HD Edition (PS Vita)
- METAL GEAR SOLID 2: SONS OF LIBERTY - HD Edition (PS3)
- METAL GEAR SOLID 3: SNAKE EATER - HD Edition (PS3)
- METAL GEAR SOLID - HD Collection - MGS2 + MGS3 (X360) – Games On Demand release
A little over a week after, on August 28, you've got the release of Peace Walker on PS3 and Xbox 360, plus another bundle. Note that the PS3 bundle includes Metal Gear Solid 2, Metal Gear Solid 3, and Peace Walker.
Pretty sure no one's actually going to buy every single one of these, but we won't judge too harshly if you do. After all, not everyone got to play these games when they were originally released.
August 28th:
- METAL GEAR SOLID: PEACE WALKER (PS3)
- METAL GEAR SOLID: PEACE WALKER (X360) – Games on Demand Release
- METAL GEAR SOLID - HD Collection Bundle – MGS2 + 3 + PW (PS3)
