EA and BioWare recently revealed that Mass Effect 3 would re-releasing for the Wii U as a launch title. Color us somewhat surprised.
The Wii U version, due later this year alongside the Wii U, will feature a "brand new control scheme" designed specifically to work with the Wii U's tablet. Makes sense, but also interesting is the inclusion of "bonus DLC," which encompasses the Extended Cut content. Other than that, the extra content was specified, though the Wii U version will include multiplayer, so they could be referring to the multiplayer DLC.
On a somewhat related note, EA just yesterday announced plans to release FIFA Soccer 13 and Madden NFL 13 as Wii U launch titles. Looks like the publisher is really crowding up the console's third-party pool.
