Bethesda has announced an all-star voice cast for Dishonored.
Academy Award winner Susan Sarandon (Thelma & Louise, Dead Man Walking) will be lending her voice to the game, as well as the following actors:
- Golden Globe winner Brad Dourif (The Lord of the Rings trilogy, One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest)
- Emmy Award nominees Carrie Fisher (Star Wars trilogy) and John Slattery (Mad Men)
- Michael Madsen (Reservoir Dogs, Kill Bill)
- Lena Headey (300, Game of Thrones)
President of developer Arkane Studios Raphaël Colantonio spoke of his delight regarding the slew of talented voice actors Dishonored will feature. He believes the all-star cast will help fulfill the developer's vision of making the game's world feel real and compelling.
"Having such talented actors voice Dishonored's compelling cast of characters adds a rich, powerful element to the game. We want to draw people into this virtual world and make it feel real. This celebrated cast adds wonderful depth and credibility to the overall Dishonored gameplay experience."
Dishonored is currently scheduled for a release on October 9 in North America and October 12 throughout Europe.
