New goodies from EA Summer Showcase
Battlefield 3 nuts hoping for a good look at the upcoming Armored Kill expansion yesterday weren't given much love -- just the ~30 seconds of footage you see below is what was displayed at the EA Summer Showcase.
Nevertheless, it's valuable in giving a feel for the new Armored Shield map and the Tank Superiority mode, which features chaotic and hot tank on tank action and a single flag to fight over. Armored Shield -- which bears a disconcerting resemblance to Caspian Border -- is also featured in the screenshots above and below.
Armored Kill launches next month.

I'm not overly excited for Armor Kill, but I'm happy for others will enjoy it.

I wouldn't be excited either if I was on console.
