The final Guild Wars 2 beta weekend came and went, but tomorrow's stress test offers another window of opportunity for Guild Wars junkies.
ArenaNet is scheduling a stress test for Thursday, August 2, between 12:00 PM (noon) and 4:00 PM PST. That's four hours of potential play time.
Now unlike previous stress tests, ArenaNet will be "actively working on the game" at the same time, meaning players might experience connectivity issues, broken features, and other in-game weirdness. A post on the official Facebook page explains:
Unlike previous stress tests, we will be actively working on the game during the event, so you might experience connectivity problems or discover features that are not working as designed. Any issues you experience are a result of the rigorous conditions of the stress test, and are in no way representative of the state of the game at launch. By participating in this stress test, you’re helping us make Guild Wars 2 a better game.
So just keep all of that in mind when you log in tomorrow. Hey, it's all for the greater good, and we won't complain about being able to play the game before August 28.
Thanks for letting us know, Invidia.
