Persona 4 Arena developer making progress with Xbox 360 patch

Having acknowledged the lag issues plaguing Persona 4 Arena players on Xbox 360 last week, Atlus has finally delivered more reassuring news.  The publisher confirms via the title's Japanese blog that developer Arc System Works has been hard on work on a patch designed to tackle the lag issues experienced during online multiplayer.

According to Atlus, much of the development on the patch has in fact already been completed.  What Arc System Works needs to do now is put the patch through the testing phase to ensure it will (hopefully) make a difference.  The patch thus far will only be of concern for the Japanese release of title, if only because Persona 4 Arena hasn't been released outside of Japan yet!

Should similar issues emerge for Xbox 360 users in North America come next week, it will at least be reassuring to know that the groundwork for a remedy has already been laid.
