Bethesda has confirmed that Skyrim's update 1.7 is now available to download on Steam.
The patch delivers the several alterations to the PC version of the action role-playing game, including crash fixes related to water visuals and dragons. Dawnguard content also gets a fix.
- General memory and stability optimizations
- Fixed crash related to new water shaders
- Fixed rare crash related to dragon landings
- Using vampiric grip and swimming no longer prevents swimming animation from playing afterwards
Skyrim's update 1.7 for the PlayStation 3 will be arriving in "the coming weeks". Meanwhile, the game's first expansion pack Dawnguard has already released on the Xbox 360, but Bethesda has stated that they haven't announced the downloadable content pack for the PS3 or PC.
