Publisher Namco Bandai have reason to hold their heads high today, as the PS2 classic Katamari Damacy is being showcased at the Museum of Modern Art (MOMA) in New York. Definitely not something every game company can boast about their titles.
Katamari Damacy is part of the "Century of the Child: Growing by Design" exhibit at New York's MOMA and will remain on display until November 5. For anyone familiar with the series, it's no wonder the game found a spot at the art museum. This 2004 puzzle-action game may not have enjoyed immediate success in Japan, but its incredibly stylized art direction and... unique gameplay won the whole world over. Not to mention all the innuendos.
And besides, nobody doesn't love the King.
