Figuring out how copy and paste works is some hardcore stuff. Although it seems many games were caught off guard. GTA had issues Burnout was locked out for days and now this. I'm sure there were others that fell under the mighty power of Steam as well haha.

When I tried to download the Harley Quinn DLC GFWL kept screwing up my PC, this would explain my problems. I still have yet to play what I paid for :/

quote Mystic Aurora
lol and this is the "future" of gaming.
DRM? No one ever said that Ubi, EA and WB seem huddled up together in a fort trying to defend their excessive use of it though.

True enough but I can run Acti and Valve games offline at any point I wish. I don't need an auth server to dial into before I'm allowed to run. Games for Windows Live is DRM as well it's always there but the degree in which it cripples the game varies per company.

Basically is it there to check and make sure it's legit or is it constantly calling home forcing users to be online and the minute their system fails does it kill the end user experience? With Ubi and EA this rings through especially true, even more with Blizzard recently and Diablo III.

DRM never stopped Steam from blowing out massive amounts of L4D or any of their own games. Big difference in the situation I'm talking about, the level and use and style of content management isn't so intrusive it hampers the experience.

rofl easy there. Never said I was an advocate but that I honestly have no qualms with steamworks because it's transparent.

Had you read a single thing I've ever said on DRM you'd know I'm not pushing it and I really don't need someone trying to play up the entire battle history of the RIAA, MPAA, Rootkits, DeCSS, HDCP, etc.
