Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition will be out in just a couple months, with the PC release set for September 18. The date was revealed via countdown by Overhaul Games, though the iOS and OSX versions still haven't been given a solid date. They're expected to fall within the same month, however, while the Android version remains up in the air.
On PC, Enhanced Edition will be priced just under $20, at $19.99 USD, and the mobile versions are expected to be $10 less, at $9.99 USD. So totally affordable, especially for the "greatest role-playing game of all time."
This beefed up edition will also be including new characters with corresponding content:
- The half-orc Blackguard named Dorn Il-Khan, who seeks revenge against former comrades turned traitors.
- A half-elf wild mage named Neera, who seeks to better understand and master her prodigious powers.
- The Calishite Monk Rasaad yn Bashir, a young yet wise man seeking his own solace.
The official site is now taking pre-orders, and anyone who reserves the game there will get a discounted price of $17.99.
