Just by a bit
The DLC many have been waiting for is now here: Left 4 Dead 2 "Cold Stream" has launched...on PC. If you have the game on Xbox 360 only, you'll have to wait until next week, as the game has hit a snag of some sort.
With the DLC comes a significant update, adding all mutations to the main menu, and tweaking the Crash Course, Death Toll, Dead Air, and Blood Harvest maps, as well as Cold Stream itself.
If you still don't own the game for some unsightly reason, or perhaps you have a curious friend, the game is on sale on Steam now to promote the launch.

Cold Stream is fun, but very...painful. They fixed the final tank spawn from being directly in your way, which is nice, but the Rock of Death at the first level is still there, so if a tank spawns early in the level, survivors are done for.

Assumeing that it's the same price for the 360, how much does the PC DLC cost?

kin333x Jul 25, 12
I think its supposed to be free on pc only.

And considering Microsoft charges for nearly all updates/dlc on consoles it is very likely there will be a price tag, still unknown to me though.

Ahhh I see, I guess I'll just buy 800 MP and hope for the best

They actually announced that the price tag is 560 Microsoft points. You can read it on their twitter page. Along with why it was delayed and stuff. https://twitter.com/#!/l4ddev

Yeah, the 360 version has apparently been delayed until early next week. Why is kinda unknown though I'd say both VALVe and (mainly) Microsoft are to blame for it. But for everything it comes with, 560 MSP is a good price for it. I thought they were gonna have to put it at 800...

omnious Jul 25, 12
for the cost of 560 MSP you could probably buy it on pc... Don't know how it works out but I payed about £3 for it in a steam sale, and I figure MSP are probably like 200 = £1

Black_Shadow_93 Jul 25, 12
Well it depends where you get it, but if you go by xBox Live then it's £0.85 per 100 MSP and they're generally the premium price. I remember when they had CoD: Black Ops on games on demand for £60 I think it was when it first came up. 560 MSP is around £4.76 though if you got the 560MSP card at a store, it'd be £4.99.
