Argh, I was one of the last 10 people alive, with only one other person left on my (Gold) team. Up to that point I'd been able to cloak and shotgun opponents down, but suddenly there were robots EVERYWHERE! They popped shields and I basically wasted all of my ammo on them.

The sad thing is, I had like 10 rations left with only a few minutes left in the game... if I had just run I could have lived. ><

Anyways, this was ridiculously fun. I hope they have something similar available on full release.

Kudos to ArenaNet for acknowledging the "The Hunger Games" vs "Battle Royale" scene!!!! It was truly an epic event!!!!! My fave of all the beta weekends!!!

I sadly had server problems after my first death after the practice round and couldn't get back into the game, but what I did play was super fun! I agree that random little events like this upon release would be awesome. I have to give ArenaNet a huge congrats on their creativity. This is literally the first MMO that I've ever been excited for!

I found the final event unnecessarily complex, confusing and disappointing. I got separated from my bf (with whom I was grouped before we entered). I then spent nearly half an hour running around without ever spotting another player or finding any rations. I finally gave up in frustration and went and played on another toon till the beta shut down.
