Ubisoft has released two new direct-feed gameplay trailers for their Wii U exclusive zombie survival horror title, ZombiU. The game does look quite a bit better in these promotional materials than we remember from our hands-on experience with it just over a week ago, but it's just as clear to us that the player here is also much better than we (well okay, me) were at dispatching or avoiding the infected zombie masses.

Everything's always a bit more unsetlling when all you have is your flashlight and limited supplies. The Buckingham Palace trailer unfortunately couldn't quite capture how cool it was to use the GamePad as a sniper scope for your crossbow. One thing to watch out for in these trailers is that the game is still running while you're poking out your inventory on the GamePad touchscreen, meaning you won't have all day to manage your gear or grab new stuff from crates and chests when zombies are coming after you.
You'll also notice your character is continually in contact with a voice that guides you, and it's someone who knows a lot more about this mess than you. The Nursery trailer also teases what happens if the player character does happen to succumb to the zombies: it's not Game Over, but instead you'll be put in control of a new survivor that "spawns" in the safehouse. The one we saw during our own time with the title was actually different than the one eventually introduced in the trailer, suggesting that these survivors are randomly generated by the game.
