Oh no, Steam. You better not let EA catch you doing this...

Not really interested in today's deals. I either already have the game, or am just not interested in them (or at least, not at the price given).

Valve has needed to add servers and/or upgrade existing ones for some time now. I noticed it a good long while ago that their service had gotten slower, and has stayed that way since. It's especially bad during special sale periods like this.

If it wasn't for DRM these deals would be awesome.
Lol.. You're missing out then.

I think people gave up on hating on Steams brand of DRM when it worked out so valuable in the end to support them. I mean you shun Steam and you end up paying so much more per game as these sales are massive. I suggest you reconsider as the only one you're really hurting is yourself. While everyone here and myself will be enjoying the spoils of this sale you'll have nothing but your principles. I can't wait to add another 50+ games to be Steam library if I'm honest.

Lol that's nothing. Do you know what shenanigans occur when they update TF2, even on a small update? On a small update, after it's pushed out and everybody finally gets it, first the item server goes down for an hour minimum, usually more. And then loadout goes too. On big updates, you won't see your items or loadout until the next day and/or several hours later, including random item server shut-off periods within the next day or two after the update.

Yet I see so many other games that just apply an update and are good to go right afterward. Piss poor planning, Valve.

I feel like all of the overall best games coming out lately have been free to play. Seems like the good developers are also the same developers smart enough to see the value in the business model.

Say, there is actually a game that appears to not be available in Canada (or maybe all of North America?).

I get a "We're Sorry. This Game is Not Available In Your Region." image on the frontpage display (always on the bottom right corner of the mass of 3x3 images).

Shadow of Death It may be a bug I've been frequently getting where the page just isn't loading correctly. Try refreshing a couple of times, or checking out the store in a webbrowser/in steam.

bluexy - I dunno about a bug, but it only appears on a specific arrangement (they have a few arrangements of the big icon deals, since there is more than 9 of them). It's always on the bottom right, the 'unavailable' one.

It COULD be an empty space, but why not just toss in one of the other deal icons then?

Shadow of Death I am getting that bug now aswell, I didn't notice or have it earlier so I'm not sure what is causing it.
