With today's trailer, I think it's safe to say Borderlands 2 has crossed the line from weird and silly to all out ridiculous. It's...kind of hard to explain, but I'll just say it parodies The Lion King and leave it at that. You watch now:
The action looks crunchy and addictive, serving somehow as a nice complement to the ridiculousness.
PC gamers should remember the game is expected to be very much optimized this time around, so put it on your watch list if you haven't already.
