Namco Bandai's countdown teaser site reveals JoJo's Bizarre Adventure All Star Battle
Fighting game based off of the Jojo's Bizarre Adventure manga and games
What does a horse drawn carriage, a cow tongue, the Statue of Liberty, an underwater tunnel, the sun, an odd sea creature and... raisins have in common? Absolutely nothing, as far as I can tell, but nonetheless those were the images used to tease the announcement of JoJo's Bizzare Adventure All Star Battle. This Namco Bandai fighting game based off the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure manga may never come across the ocean, but it's worth checking out for the trailer.
The JoJo franchise has made its way into gaming before, with an RPG, some fighting games and also a few action/adventure titles. None of which have been released States-side in the past decade. I won't pretend to know much about the series, but it seems very much to be a love letter project for JoJo's biggest fans.
Namco Bandai does all of the big manga-to-video game projects for Japan, including Naruto and One Piece, so this announcement should come as no surprise. The game will feature characters from different generations of the manga, and features a classy penciled art style that looks great in motion.
If it looks like something you'd want, make sure to bug Namco Bandai about localizing it. Otherwise, JoJo's Bizzare Adventure All Star Battle will remain a Japan exclusive PlayStation 3 title.
