EA Sports games will probably forever be accused of being stagnant, year after year, but that doesn't seem to be stopping EA from trying to change that perception. NHL 13, for one example, will be seeing some tweaks to the ever important goalie AI.
This time around, goalies will be better able to anticipate plays, and be able to better and more realistically adapt to them with "complete" limb movement and 1000-plus new animations. See the adjustments in action in the trailer below.
As reported previously, the game will also feature overhauled skating and AI, plus improvements to the GM mode and more.
NHL 13 launches September 14 on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
