Assassin's Creed 3 will be getting its own artbook 'The Art of Assassin's Creed III'

A day after Ubisoft announced the Assassin's Creed III special editions, Titan Books comes out with news of an artbook, The Art of Assassin's Creed III. Guess that explains why the $120 physical limited edition didn't include one -- it's being sold separately.

This hardcover artbook will be released this fall alongside Assassin's Creed III, on October 30, with a surprisingly low page count of 144. For comparison, the pleather-bound Skyrim artbook included with that particular collector's edition had 203 pages.

Anyway, size aside, The Art of Assassin's Creed III will contain some never-before-seen concept art from the game and include some artists' commentary with the artwork. You know, the usual artbook stuff.

Senior commissioning editor Laura Price certainly thinks you ought to pick this up:

The Assassin's Creed III artbook is expected to cost $30 USD. Titan is also releasing a Halo 4 artbook this November with the new Master Chief game.
