Edit: Wait... why would we need to "install" something that is on the disc in the first place.. of course unless it isn't on the disc?

Thank goodness I upgraded last year. Condolences to those haven't.

Reminds me of Reach and how folks who bought the new 4GB model realized they couldn't play it (and some other games) online.

1. Just delete stuff you don't need. Surely you haven't filled your hard drive with things you must keep.
2. Why is this why you love Playstation more? They don't have Halo.

Rune Ripper I have a 4GB xbox and it has done me fine til now.

I love playstation more for many reasons, one being not having to install games all the time. Xbox is number 2 for me.

Ah, now I see the issue. Couldn't you just order a 20GB HDD online?

Yeah, I think that was only when trying to play Firefight online though.

I was thinking it might just be for the Spartan Ops missions? The first season of SpOps is free with the game, so it's basically a part of any Halo 4 purchase, except you have to download each episode. Maybe they're saying you need at least 8GB of storage for the full multiplayer experience, Spartan Ops included.

Dumb, dumb, dumb. I hate seeing first parties using big-name games to push sales of peripherals and hardware. How many gamers with the Xbox Arcade are going to buy Halo day 1 and be terribly disappointed? This isn't right, Microsoft, you should be encouraging more people to play Halo, not restricting it.

Amazon has them for 60 bucks they may not be the Microsoft ones but they work just fine.

Wait... what? The PS3 is the one that has to install games all the time, not the 360. The Blu-ray drive is too slow to play some games straight off disc.

Lol wtf... People will probably just buy a hard drive to play if they don't have the memory... At least that's what they're hoping
