The title is quite pathetic because that is monster hunter! There are always Dragons and giant swords in this game! Haha, no offence though.

The 3ds just has better games give it up vita is fail. Why would they try to sell too 2.4 million people when you can sell to 18 million with the 3ds?

Since I have only played MHtri,I'm unsure if a portable one will be as fun. This would have made a great Wii U title from both a gameplay and a business perspective...but I'm glad that it is on a Nintendo console at least.Could have been multiplatform though.

I'm hatin' the release on the 3DS, too. The Vita seems like such a better fit for MH4, and it seems to be a much more complete and polished piece of hardware, too. On the other hand, the 3DS looks just like a DS except with crappier graphics because everyone has to make it in 3D now/

So in other words you think they're putting their resources into all the wrong places? I suppose you have a point there since everything they're doing could be done on a console including the 3d. It makes sense though that if they're planning on 3d that they do it on the 3ds rather than ps3 since unlike the ps3 its guaranteed that everyone has the hardware to take advantage of it.

Paradox I have to agree with you on this one I wouldn't want to buy a system for just one game and it really seems like they're sorta forgetting us. You'd think with MHTri doing pretty well they would at least try to localize MH3G especially since I recall Nintendo even offered to help (unless I'm thinking of Sony and MHP3rd), and if this doesn't make it over it will be the third time.

But its on the 3DS which i think is a huge mistake.
I'm curious, why exactly is it a big mistake? As for being on a home console back when tri was announce I remember reading about how the reason for going from ps3 to wii was because of the budget size and that Nintendo offered to help foot the bill. An MHFU hd port (preferably with fixed hitboxes) would be a good idea except that it would likely be missing ad-hoc for the same reasons as MHP3rd hd, not good when your trying to attract new fans.

Hopefully the trailer's appearance is due to being a work in progress and not the scale of the game. The new gameplay mechanics seem more interesting and looks like the acrobatics should be especially fun for sns and ds users, needless to say the 3d should make bow/bowgun users' jobs a bit easier. I still find it rather amusing how they always squeeze so many shots of the rathalos and rathian shooting fireballs into every trailer.
I'm not afraid to admit that I'm mad because it isn't on the Vita/PS3. I don't want to buy a 3DS just to play the new installment of Monster Hunter and I would prefer it to be on a Sony handheld or console. I would be fine with a multiplatform release too as long as they develop it for the superior hardware first and then port it to the inferior one (like PC ---- consoles)

Not to mention this game is probably not even going to be released outside Japan, and the 3DS is region locked. If it was on the Vita/PS3 (I actually want it to be on the PS3 more than anything) at least fans could import it.

Not that I have anything against Nintendo or the 3DS. I'm glad MHTri brought in a lot of new MH fans. But it seems like Capcom is forgetting about the old fans that used to play the installments on the PS2/PSP.

imo its a mistake because i think if they spent more money on it (which i know they don't have), and more time they could keep all the underwater battles (which may or may not be returning because of the limitations of the 3DS.) i don't care if the graphics stay the same as Tri because MH has always been more about the gameplay then anything else. But instead their going to put money towards putting it into 3D. (and also probably getting rid of Online play though i don't know exactly what their doing about local/internet play atm.)

As soon as they give out more information about what their doing with multiplayer i will either change my mind or it'll stay the same and i just won't buy it.

I dont care, JUST MAKE IT FOR AMERICA! You guys are worried about the console, but have you ever thought, maybe it wont come to the US? If it does though, I hope it goes on multiple game devices because although I have a Nintendo 3DS, let me be honest with you. It SUCKS. I actually would like Monster Hunter on the Wii again, but Monster Hunter on the PS Vita would be awesome! Do these Japaneese people not want my American money? MAKE MONSTER HUNTER 4 IN THE US!

The 3DS is not an expensive piece of hardware.

If you really want this game just get a used 3DS or something, geez :/
