Wipeout 3 coming to Kinect, Wii, 3DS
Not your usual list
Obstacle course game show title Wipeout 3 -- not to be confused with the 1999 racer -- is coming to Kinect, Wii, and 3DS.
You might think this isn't your usual list of platforms, and you'd be correct in observing so, sir. Wipeout creator and executive producer Matt Kunitz says the idea here is to go all out with the "fun for everyone" approach, as Wipeout has found fans of all ages over the years.
The game will feature returning obstacles like the Sweeper Arms and Big Balls (cough), 12 new winter and summer courses, challenges, an over the shoulder perspective, and Instant Replays.
In terms of modes, you'll get split-screen multiiplayer team modes; there's also the Wipeout Shop which includes various items, characters, episodes, and more.
The game launches this autumn.

1. Why is this newsworthy? It's no doubt going to be a crappy game for little kids. Which brings me to my second point.
2. This is exactly the kind of list of platforms I would expect. What do the Kinect, Wii, and 3DS all have in common? Most of the users of these systems are kids! And all three of these systems (the 3DS less so, but only because it is new) are full of shit shovelware games for kids, just like this.
