MechWarrior Online gameplay video stomps through frozen wasteland

MechWarrior Online is more than just open fields and blue skies, as the newest gameplay video shows. In the trailer, we see a lengthy sequence in a frozen city, a once urban environment that has since been encased in ice and buried under snow.

That horrible weather, as you might imagine, will affect how you play the game. Blizzards kill your visibility, meaning you won't see other units until they're fairly close. That crappy visibility can work to your advantage in a fight, though. After all, you're not the only one who can't see what's going on.

Interestingly, that cold also changes your your mech produces heat. The machine's heat will actually take longer to build up, meaning battles will run longer before overheating becomes an issue.
