Battlefield 3: Close Quarters DLC now available to everyone
For non-Premium peasants
Battlefield 3 players on PS3 have been at the "Close Quarters" DLC for at least a week now, and Premium PS3 players even longer. It gets even more complicated: PC and 360 Premium players have been enjoying the content for some time now, too. If you're in none of these categories, today you can buy the content separately on any platform you please.
"Close Quarters" features four new maps across the new Conquest Domination and Gun Master modes, plus ye olde Team Deathmatch. There's also ten new weapons and a few other bonuses. My review of it is here. The short version: it's somewhat fun, if not exactly the Battlefield you know and love.
The DLC is priced at $15. Check the trailer below if you missed it.

that's two different games with an entirely different way of playing. i'm not trying to sound rude and i know you mean well but both games have their strong and weak points when it comes to the maps they host. you're kinda comparing chessboards with damboards atm.
from what i know it often depends on what kind of situation the player is in along with everyone else in the server. sometimes people just know where they need to be and other times people just seem to scatter off with no idea where to go and to them you seem to do the same. to me the map is just a thing, a playingboard. the players are the guys that give it the shape and sometimes it's an advantage and other times it's an obstacle depending on the rules. i find the majority of maps in both cod and bf a challenge. but some can be crazy though. like conquest metro or (if anyone still remembers) killhouse
especially killhouse. that map is such troll on free for all xD
not exactly my thing either but some people prefer it that way. the next dlc pack might be something more our style you never know.
