If you like the idea of playing a Codemasters F1 racer in your browser, today's your lucky day. The open beta for F1 Online: The Game (not to be confused with the famous movie...) is on now, so hit the source to sign up and get playing.
F1 Online features 2011 cars, stars, and circuits, online multiplayer, car customization, and a load more. Judging from the trailer below, it's controlled partially or even entirely with the mouse. Also, the graphics aren't too shabby, either, for what you might expect.

Oh hey, it looks like they're using an engine similar to the ones they used for their V4 Micro Machines games!
