Why is there so much reaction towards the ending? It doesn't matter one bit... just move on.

There should have been more focus towards stabilizing the game, because I am still experiencing game breaking bugs. :/

You know, the only reasonable way to make this right would have been to make a fourth game instead of a half-hearted (at best) attempt at an ending. When people freaked out and said "that's not an ending!" Bioware should have smiled and said, "Because that's not the end." Sometimes it pays off to play it cool and get to work making what the people want, instead of blinking in surprise and proclaiming "but I'm an artist!"

Personally I see Mass Effect 4 coming out of this. Bioware hints at another game or another story as the old man and the boy are talking specifically when the boy ask to hear "ANOTHER STORY ABOUT the SHEPARD" and the old man replies with "OK ONE MORE". This to me is Bioware hinting that they plan on making another mass effect that continues Shepard's Story. Plus Mike Gamble one of BioWare's employees, urges fans to hold onto their Mass Effect 3 save files. He then says " you never know what may come in future." Sounds to me like BioWare is planning on a new game. The interview is here if you don't believe me. http://www.computerandvideogames.com/334811/bioware-producer-sure-there-will-be-more-mass-effect/

^ BioWare has all but confirmed that the universe is far from over. Shepard's involvement in it, however, is still a point of debate. Should be interesting to see how they handle things from here.

Spark, Did you not see the whole "Free until 2014" thing? I'm pretty sure that anyone that wants it will have it by then.

why can't it be free forever? it's ridiculous.. yes the large majority of the people will have the game and beaten it by then, but they still feel the need to get that 5 bucks or whatever off of that 1% that played it later on. they are greedy.

Because it's an RPG, a bad ending just leaves it at a sour note which stains the entire experience in retrospect.

Also if you're experiencing game breaking bugs I'm going to wager it's your fault. I played on 360 and didn't encounter a single problem.

How's it my fault? Don't you mean I could just be very unlucky? And because your game works doesn't mean everyone isn't experiencing animation bugs, falling through the floor, or elevators getting stuck. Doing a google search quickly proves I'm not the only one. So, yeah, I'm excited for a new bug-fixing patch.

No, the ending wasn't bad. I just think 98% of the internet ignored all the clues being thrown at them throughout the course of the game. Do I need to explain what is going on?

I just think some people should get over the fact they didn't get to see, Shephard and Tali, live on some beach where the sun is setting.

Also again I'm gonna disagree on you with ME3 being an RPG. It's really just a shooter with skill points and dialogue options. It's also lacking exploration and some of the powers are just really redundant.

Am I calling it a bad game? Not necessarily! I just can't classify it as an RPG anymore.

The extended cut was quite good but it makes me question why it wasn't there in the first place. The fourth ending was bullcrap. Why is it 1.9 GB when it's some extra cutscenes.

I'm pretty sure their will be a new Mass effect game mainly because when you get that 'thank you' from bioware they say they hope to share many more adventures in the mass effect world. If that's true, I want to know how they will make it because the reapers are destoyed (well in my case).

Basically it was a mild improvement at best.

**POSSIBLE SPOILER**
The main thing that gets me is that my Shep still takes a quick breath at the end - AND IT'S STILL LEFT HANGING! Liara didn't put up my plaque, so I assume, as we're bonded, she knows I'm still alive. But am I?

Frankly, if there's DLC that comes out where this is played on and I reunite, BioWare have me - I will be buying it - but that's what I wanted in the FIRST ENDING. Actual closure about Shepard, not about the other characters.

@ Spark Why not be happy that it'll be free for a good while? It's going to be a loooong time when 2014 comes around.

To the one who commented about the memorial wall, interesting note: If you didn't have enough EMS to get the 'Shepard breaths' cutscene, then his/her name is added to the wall. If you DO get enough for the cutscene, the loveinterest is just seen holding it. If you don't get the breathing scene, the love interest plants it firmly on the wall and frowns. If you do get it, the love interest just holds it a bit before looking up and smiling with content. As if saying "I was so close to having to add your name to this wall." or something. To me, that one subtle little change is enough to add to the assumption that Shepard survives, given the breathing cutscene. I was so expecting to see Shepard step up infront of the LI, all beaten and bruised and in bandages, maybe with a crutch. Either way, Shepard lives, so thats pretty nice right?

I don't think that Bioware (Or EA for that matter...) can resist making another ME game. Personally I want to see a new character introduced. I really like Shepard don't get that wrong, but I think that his/her story should end in ME3. A new character would have the opportunity to take the series in a new direction. Now I've said this I can see the billions of hate comments now.... What have I done!?
