Microsoft has finally launched the official Xbox LIVE app, called "My Xbox LIVE," on Android. Finally. iPhone users who already have the iOS version also get an update, so it's a win-win for both parties.
With the update, the iOS version now allows users to check their recent console activity and control (to an extent) their 360 with their iPhones. The new "Discover" section also makes finding new content a bit easier. The Android version, unfortunately, doesn't yet have these features and runs like the older iOS version. Android users can, however, still customize their Avatars, send messages, monitor Achievements and check Spotlight content with the app.
"My Xbox LIVE" is probably still best on Windows Phone, but it's nice to see Android finally getting a little love. You can download it off the Google Play Store.
