League of Legends finally getting Pulsefire Ezreal, full price isn't pretty
Launch will see temporary discount, then back to 3250 RP
Been waiting for Pulsefire Ezrael, Summoners? Well then, today's your lucky day, because Riot has officially revealed the beyond-Legendary skin with an actual promotional website, complete with videos and other goodies.
We'll go ahead and say it: Pulsefire Ez looks a-mazing. Really. His emotes put other Legendary skins to shame, which makes sense because Pulsefire will be considerably more expensive than a normal Legendary. At the very bottom of the promo website is the following:
To celebrate Pulsefire Ezreal’s landing in the League of Legends Store, we’ll be letting you take him home for less than the price of a Legendary Skin for the first four days after he’s released. You’ll be able to add Pulsefire Ezreal to your arsenal for 1625 RP – a full 50% off his base price. After the sale, he’ll return to his regular price of 3250 RP.
Well, at least he'll be on sale at launch. We're not sure what the exact USD conversion is, but it's way more than $20. Still, if you check out the video spotlight, that price might seem justified.
Pretty tempting, right? We're definitely getting a Mega Man vibe from this.
Below are clips of his emotes. At level 16, he actually gains a flying animation that lets him jetpack across a short distance.

Since I usually tend to buy my RP in $20 batches, that makes it 140 = $1. So 1625 would be $11.61. A regular Legendary at 1850 is $13.21. If I could live with myself spending that much on Blood Lord Vlad, I think I can do this.
