Who'd have thought?
The Civilization V expansion Gods & Kings is coming out soon, so the developers at Firaxis got together and chatted about the new content for your viewing pleasure in the video below.
The developer diary focuses on what's new in the expansion (it's actually even more than you might expect), but even moreso the different civilizations and their historical roles and special abilities.
Like any game of Civ, it's lengthy, so sit back and enjoy:

$27 seems a little pricey for just some DLC atm. Though it does sound like it'll finally revamp the game.
