"Half of one percent received invites"
Beta invites for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim has been sent out to successful applications, Bethesda has confirmed.
However, only half of one percent of the applicants was successful in receiving invites due to the sheer amount of applications for the beta.
With an overwhelming number of applicants, half of one percent received invites. We look forward to feedback in our private forum.
Around 75% of the invites have already been sent, with the remaining to be sent today.
Skyrim: Dawnguard, the action RPG's first expansion, is due for a release on the Xbox 360 as a timed exclusive come June 26 for 1,600 Microsoft Points.

BlackLabel I am afraid of them doing things like that as well, so I am avoiding a vast majority of Skyrim Dawnguard online threads, articles, and youtube vids until june 26th, as you know at least one Youtuber is going to use it for a viewer boost.
levio91 Timed exclusives are a smart strategy for marketing. Not only does it give appeal to a system that might give someone on the fence about which one they want a shove toward the certain system, but on the bright side for the PS3 and pc players, Hey, at least the Xbox 360 users like myself will end up having to deal with the bugs and the glitches and they will probably have a good few of them weeded out for the PS3 and PC release.
