Final Fantasy III remake trailer, screens confirm release

Plenty of neat features boasted
Final Fantasy fans finding themselves insatiable will be interested to know Final Fantasy III is getting yet another version. That is to say, it's coming to PSP.
This version is based off the DS remake, but also contains some elements from the iOS version. Among the features: 16:9 aspect ratio support, gallery mode, an option for the original music, and an auto battle option (which should save you approximately 63457 hours of your life).

The game will release September 20 in Japan; no word as of yet on a stateside launch.

PSP is still going strong, I suppose, I also saw many 'cheap-as-chips PSP games' at EB Sales lately...Time to switch

Huh... I played the DS version and found it just as punishingly grindy as ever. Not sure how it's doing so well to merit another port.

Whether it [DS version] is doing well or not FF fans will buy the game and that is what Square-Enix is banking on.

Good question. They're updating and re-release everything except the most popular installments in the series; multiple times, apparently. Seems counter-intuitive to me.

Exactly liege! Remember how they did that whole remade Final Fantasy VII Trailer to showcase technology? I wanna see that game too! I would shell out the cash for whatever system 7 and 8 were remastered onto.
