Bethesda has said the publisher still intends for id Software's RAGE to eventually become a big franchise.
Since the release of the game, Bethesda hasn't revealed any sales data for the shooter, which launched back in October last year, as well as remaining tight lipped on the IP's future. Marketing and PR boss Pete Hines, however, stated that Bethesda still believes in the IP and it's "certainly our hope and certainly our intent" that it turns into a big franchise.
"We're looking at doing some things with Rage. But obviously the first thing out of anybody's lips now when we talk about id is not, hey, what else is up with Rage? As far as where we are with Rage, the future for that is still TBD."
As for id Software's Doom 4, Hines reassured fans that "it's being worked on". The shooter has been subject to speculation regarding it being canned, and, although Bethesda has already denied the rumor, they've remained silent on the title ever since.
