Sony has once again confirmed Team Ico's The Last Guardian is still in development, despite its consecutive absences from E3, including this year's expo.
The company's president of worldwide studios Shuhei Yoshida stated that although the PlayStation 3 exclusive remains in active development, it has been experiencing technical difficulties.
"There are some technical issues being addressed. There’s not much to show what it looks like. This period of time we are unable to give an update, but the game is still in development."
This is Yoshida's second confirmation of the game still being in development. Last year, he addressed fears the game was canceled due to a lack of updates. The game itself has been troubled ever since designer Fumito Ueda left Sony during the December of 2011.
