Nintendo @ E3 2012 Live Blog: Still more of a Wii U preview than expected
Wii U gets unveiled, again, but still with no pricing or firm launch date
Nintendo's official E3 media briefing begins in earnest after its big Sunday Special where company president Satoru Iwata gave us a taster of what to expect with the upcoming Wii U platform, as well as its own flavor of social networking. The conference also marks the day E3 2012 kicks off for all the attendees waiting to try out all the games on the show floor!
We certainly hope the Wii U is what you were tuning in to see through the official streams: the new hardware will clearly be the focus of the show today, to the detriment of the 3DS unfortunately. Keep an eye out for the #IwataSays tags on Twitter as well. Let's see what the console giant has in store for us all today!

Hahah, nope. I only care about the 3DS stuff tomorrow.
where're the games? i should be pooping my pants over the games by now.
here're some: Darksiders II, Mass Effect 3, Tank! Tank! Tank!, Tekken Tag Tournament 2, Trine 2: Director's Cut, Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge, Aliens: Colonial Marines, Batman: Arkham City, Pikman3 and some side-scrolling super mario game.
thats why im supposed to buy a wii u?
i must be missing something.
9:11 AM 20 Wii U titles to be showcased today.
those arent them, are they?
But yeah, who gives two shits about the rest. As said, home consoles have been on a constant decline ever since the 360 came out.
I also don't understand why they focused so much on Batman instead of ZombiU. The more I read about the latter the more interesting it gets, a real survival horror game that seems to be taking much of its inspiration for Dark Souls. Yet they show off a generic action trailer for it and the zombie face changer instead of talking about the unique stuff its doing. And while its nice to see 3rd party titles finally, spending precious time demoing a year old game at E3 was silly.
Man, E3 has been bad this year, all around. bbb not happy.
Why should I buy Mass Effect 3 on Wii U when I can get it on PC or Xbox 360 with similar or better graphics. They are focusing so much on that controller yet from what I saw it was a pointless gimmick that added very little, they kept talking about how it would change the way you play games and yet it didn't it just added some mini-games into hardcore games that would just piss me off after a while..
