A hugely impressive soft-body physics demo has been showcased via the utilization of CryEngine 3.
As explained by the creator, the demo has been in the works for the past few months and runs at 100 frames per second:
"Been working on this for the past few months, now we're ready to show it. Incredible soft-body physics in CryEngine3!"
The creator also said the physics demo depicts the "most realistic vehicle damage model" to ever come into fruition. The video's description further explains:
The amazing soft-body physics you know from Rigs of Rods, now even better in CryEngine3. Anything can be built in the Beam physics system - cars, trucks, planes, boats, trains, cranes, tanks, helicopters, and even destructible map objects and crash test dummies. It's all real physics. Anything is possible.
Can someone implement this into GTA IV or even any racing game? Like... right now. Please?
