Ubisoft's Ghost Recon: Future Soldier made one heckuva impression in the UK during launch, or at least enough of one to land in first place on Gfk Chart-Track's top ten software sales for the week ending May 26th. In fact, Future Soldier's week one sales happen to the best yet for any Ghost Recon title, allowing it to steal the throne from Max Payne 3, which placed first the week before ahead of Diablo III.
Incidentally, reception for Blizzard's long-awaited action RPG cooled considerably in the UK as Diablo III plummets straight to ninth place just a week after launch. That places it behind other new titles including Capcom's Dragon Dogma and Codemasters' DiRT Showdown.
