Dead Island: Game of the Year Edition is officially a thing, publisher Deep Silver announced today, and it's been both priced and dated. The existence of this all-in-one package was first outed earlier in May by Britain's rating board, which also stuck to it a release date of June 30.
Can't speak for Europe, but the North American release of Dead Island: GOTY is actually a few days earlier than that, on June 24. The expected list price is a standard $30, and buyers can expect every add-on released to date; not that Dead Island has seen a whole lot of DLC.
More specifically, the GOTY edition will include the recent Ryder White campaign, which tells the story through its main antagonist's eyes. The game's challenge mode Bloodbath Arena and a special Ripper weapon mod will also be bundled in.
This is going to be released to PC as well as consoles, so don't let the exclusion of a PC box art fool you.
